LSF Rugby Invitational
Background
In 1949, a team composed of players from both sides of the Zambezi, beat the New Zealand All Blacks in a series. The Rhodesian team won the first match 10-8, and drew the second game 3-3, hence winning the series 1-0. On a historical basis therefore, a joint side of present-day Zambia and Zimbabwe remains the only non-test side in the world to win a game and a series against the All Blacks.
